Product Review-Morfose Thermal Guard Shampoo and Hair Care Mask

Morfose Thermal Guard Hair Care Line

We would like to introduce A&A Cosmetics new Morfose Thermal Guard Series. It includes Shampoo, Hair Mask, Conditioner, Hair Serum, Hair Milk, Hair Spray and Hair Mousse. We found this review from Kik Magazine. They are an international Jamaica based online magazine that focuses on the beauty and overall development of black woman. (

If you use heat on your hair regularly, it is very important for you to use products that will protect the structure of your hair by keeping it protein rich and moisturised. This is not an easy balance to find which is why I was not expecting much when I received the Morfose Thermal Guard line for review. I, however, was pleasantly surprised.

Morfose Thermal Guard Shampoo and Hair Care Mask

Morfose Thermal Guard Hair Care Mask with argan oil & shea butter

5/5 Stars

The Morfose Thermal Guard Hair Care Mask for all hair types promises to deeply moisturise and nourish hair while making it look stronger and shinier. It also claims that the micro keratin penetrates hair, allowing your strands to maintain their protein-rich quality.

Recommended usage: Use for 3-5 minutes after shampooing with the Morfose Thermal Guard Shampoo. Although I have followed the instructions, I prefer to pre-poo (deep condition my hair  on damp hair before shampooing). I typically pre-poo for  for 3-5 hours or overnight.

  • The conditioner is very thick
  • Extremely moisturising (especially over time)
  • Strengthening
  • Great for detangling. Not slippery but softening.
  • Hair looks stronger and shinier
  • Coats hair easily
  • A little goes a fairly long way

  • I really don’t like the scent of the product but it doesn’t linger very much so I’m fine with it overall.
  • Though softening, the product is not very slippery.
  • This product is not all natural

Morfose Thermal Guard Shampoo and Hair Care Mask

Morfose Thermal Guard Shampoo with argan oil

This shampoo is pretty standard and gets the job done. I can’t say that it’s the greatest thing since sliced bread but it definitely does a fairly decent job at cleansing without overly stripping the hair.

At first it felt drying but then I realised that I had build-up in my hair and it doesn’t thoroughly clarify so I will still need to use a more stripping shampoo from time to time. I’d like this shampoo to be a little silkier though. Ultimately, this product doesn’t dry out the hair. It cleanses well and can be used regularly without stripping the hair. It’s a shampoo. It does the job, and does it very well when paired with the Hair Care Mask.

Still, this product got a 3.5 out of 5 because I do have products that are sufficiently clarifying and moisturising at the same time.

I did a quick video review for my youtube channel. You can watch it below.
